I meant timpanogas.org, which Merkey has claimed.
I thin you meant had claimed a number of years ago (2001 from your linked post)
As for you initial VGER significance, I would guess the significance comes from LKML itself
* (REG) "vger" is the name of the machine which hosts the LKML server. This server also hosts a number of other linux-related mailing lists. More information about the server is available at http://vger.kernel.org/
Personally I can't see much significance in Utah-Nac if it is/isn't just merkey doesn't seem to make much difference. Nor do I see much relevance in being willing to be flexible with the rules, most rules are flexible since to write rules covering every conceivable eventuality soon makes those rules a nonsense.
(Oddly enough this is the basic problem the UK has with EU type legislation,.coming from a Common Law Cackground the UK tends to write fairly comprehensive statue covering lots of details which judges then try and interpret fairly literally, contrast this with much of the rest of Europe which comes from a civil law background and are used to a purposive interpretaion of statue, i.e. What's it trying to achieve? In EU law terms this means the UK takes things very literally (which it's not meant to be) whilst other parts of Europe adopt this purposive approach and so find implementing EU law far "easier") [ Parent ]
