jeff i tell people i am just not competent enough to run windows and hope i never am.
can i do everything i want in linux?
not yet but i get closer every day.
at least the challenge to is not an answer such as reboot or reformat.
like right now i "need" to do a kernel update just to learn how but i keep putting it off.
so i set myself a deadline to try.
that puts a little pressure on me to at least attempt it without stressing me heavily.
sound is still giving me fits but with strange twists and since the mobo was recently changed in this box ,a suggestion was made to check "jumper wire"
am going to get help to lift this box down as this position it is in is impossible for me but is out of reach of granddaughter hitting power button. -:)
