I gave it a five because I couldn't figure out if it was important or hilarious.
Sadly it's about par for what I've heard of the general state of the courts in this country. In SCOX v world we are getting a fairly idealized picture of the courts because IBM can afford intelligent, capable lawyers and has the time and resources to follow full punctillio.
Out in the real world, monied powers like the Misouri power company can often persuade the courts to do outlandish things, and too often get away with it when the defendant has limited resources and there is little publicity.
It is still all too true that in court, you get all the justice you can afford - and it's very expensive.
